SOME OF THE USEFUL FUNCTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT OF THE ASSEMBLY PROCESS

- Automatic recognition of the connected tool and configuration, so operators cannot make initial setup errors

- Displaying tightening outcome OK/NOK (TPU-C1) and torque value (TPU-C3) together with the tightening time. With TPU-C3 model, also angle value displaying

- Setting tightening torque value in Nm

- Screws counting (Poka Yoke method)

- Detection process anomalies: e.g.stripped threads or screws already tightened

- Storing up to 99 tightening operations

- Communication with PLC or other devices and remote control

- Solving of critical joints: by angle control/monitoring, TPU-C3 can detect the presence of sealings or other elements which can influence the joint elasticity

- Parametrisation of the tool tightening speed for a better screw engagement or set the tool speed

- Set untightening angle and pause time between untightening and the subsequent tightening: important plus for electrical/electronic field, for example when inserting wires into connectors that must be untightened and then tightened again

- Tighten threaded components with height-based rather than torque-based shut-off.
